Name: William A. "Bill" Felker Date of Death: Thursday, July 02, 2009 Residence: Rome, NY Age: 78 Obituary: William A. (Bill) Felker, 78, of Rome, passed away July 2, 2009 in Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born July 3, 1930, in New York, the son of Percy and Agnes McCauley Felker. He was educated in Camden schools. On August 17, 1957, he married Janet Dupont in Williamstown. Bill served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He later drove truck for Oneida Container Company for 28yrs. He was a member of the Rome Moose Club, the Rome VFW #2246, the Henry P. Smith American Legion Post #24, and the Stanwix Veterans and Men's Club. Bill loved to play cards, shoot pool and fish. Surviving besides his wife, are four daughters, Deborah (James) Davis, Lake City, FL, Laurie (Rick Kelley) Underwood, Selma, NC, Marlene (Kenneth) Eaton, Boonville, Nadine (Christopher Thieme) Russell, Vernon Center; two sons, Randolph (Holly) Felker, Rome, and Patrick (Andrea) Felker, Sr., Rome; a step-daughter, Crystal (Thomas Sr.) Denton, Boonville; two step-sons, Walter (Josephine) Felker, Sr., Selma, NC, and Frank Felker, Boonville; nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by four brothers, Robert, David, Frank, and Walter. Services: Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
